Marten Load Distribution Added in 1.2.0
Distribute async projections and subscriptions across a cluster: Wolverine-managed distribution vs Marten's HotCold, shard assignment, leader election, cold-start tuning, ancillary-store interactions, and capacity-aware assignment (Wolverine 6.40+: CapacityAwareAssignment, the INodeLoadMonitor you must supply, MemoryPressureLoadMonitor and its need for a memory limit, NodeOverloadThreshold and the receive line 10 points below, OverloadShedBatchSize, a hard line on even distribution but a preference on group affinity and blue/green, agents deliberately left unassigned when no node has headroom, and the load_factor column to migrate before turning it on).
Use when scaling async projections beyond a single node, or when one node runs hot while its neighbours idle. Applies to Polecat; Fisher is a single-node store and cannot distribute at all.
